Changzhou University (CZU) is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, a famous historical and cultural city in the southern part of the Yangtze River with a prosperous economy and great cultural diversity. It is a provincial full-time university jointly established by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation, and China National Offshore Oil Corporation. It ranks at Jiangsu high-level university construction peak plan class and is also a university jointly built by Jiangsu Provincial Education Department and Changzhou Municipal People's Government. In recent years, microelectronics and computer science industries in China are developing very fast, and the demand for relevant talent has increased dramatically. In view of the development trend, talent demand and existing foundation of relevant industries of the country, Jiangsu Province and Changzhou City, CCZU established the School of Aliyun Big Data in 2019, the School of Microelectronics and Control Engineering and the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence in 2020, and the School of Software in 2021. CCZU is now recruiting high-level talents in the fields of microelectronics and computer science at home and abroad.
Recipients of global top awards including Nobel Prize, Fields Medal, Turing Award, etc.; academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering; foreign member of Academy of Sciences of developed countries; world-class scholar with high academic reputation and impact; under the age of 65 years old; tailor-made pay. The School of Microelectronics and Control Engineering accepts applications from first-level disciplines in Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering and Electronic Science and Technology, including but not limited to the following research directions:
(1) New semiconductor power devices and integration
(2) Broad band-gap semiconductor devices and materials
(3) Integrated circuits and systems
(4) Microelectronics materials, devices, and processes
(5) Physical electronics and photo-electronics
The School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Aliyun School of Big Data, and School of Software accept applications from first-level disciplines in Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Cyberspace security, and Intelligent Science and technology, including but not limited to the following research directions:
(1) Computer software and theory
(2) Pattern analysis and machine intelligence
(3) Network and information security
(4) Data science and big data analysis
(5) Human-computer interaction and virtual reality
(1) Applicants should have senior professional and technical titles and doctoral degrees; excellent academic attainments in the relevant field recognized by peers at home and abroad; good academic reputation and influence.
(2) Be familiar with the laws of higher education and have a clear understanding of higher education in China; be able to propose forward-looking, innovative, and strategic ideas for the high-quality development of the college/school; an academic vision to serve the development of Changzhou and beyond; work experience and demonstrated achievements in academic institutions with first-class disciplines.
(3) Good personal qualities, professionalism, teamwork, dedication, and honesty.
(4) Maximum age: 55 years (65 years for academicians); age limit can be relaxed for applicants with excellent conditions; nationality is not limited.
(5) Full-time employment is required during the employment period.

(1) Appointments are for a term of five years, including a trial period of one year. The contract can be renewed for candidates who pass the assessment upon the expiration of the contract.
