I. About NCHU
Nanchang Hangkong University (NCHU) is a multidisciplinary university that focuses on engineering and keeps coordinated development in fields of engineering, science, liberal arts, management, economics, law, education and arts.
NCHU always holds firm to the schooling philosophy of “Students-centered, Quality-oriented, Strengthening with Talents, Prospering by Opening up, Pursing Characteristic Development”, and has been advancing steadily its intensive construction.
The purpose of the International Young Scholars Forum is to recruit more talented individuals from both home and abroad.
II. About the Forum
The First International Young Scholars Forum will be held from 25 to 27 October 2023 at Nanchang Hangkong University, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, PRC, which aims to build a platform of communication and cooperation for young scholars at home and abroad. Focusing on the theme of exploring academic frontiers to further serve national major strategic needs, this forum is expected to promote interdisciplinary studies and academic innovation, strengthen mutual cooperation and mutual trust, as well as deepen the scholars’ comprehensive understanding of NCHU for attracting the top talents to work in Jiangxi to make their contributions,thereby co-promoting the “Double First-Class” construction of NCHU.
In the light of this, we sincerely invite young scholars at home and abroad to come to NCHU to conduct academic communication and enhance mutual cooperation.

iv. About the Registration
1.The eligible young scholars at home and abroad are welcome to log in the registration system to register and fill in your relevant information. You can visit the website：

2.We will conduct a qualification inspection for registered scholars and send e-invitations in batches to those who have passed the inspection.
3.The invited scholars are required to fill in the return receipt within two weeks after receiving the e-invitation and inform whether to attend the forum or not.
v. Subsidies for Participants
We will arrange rooms and accommodation (free of charge) and offer round-trip transportation subsidies for all the invited participants.
The reimbursement of transportation is in accordance with the expenses-based financial policy. For scholars from European and American countries, it is up to RMB 15,000 yuan per person; for scholars from Asia-Pacific regions, it is up to RMB 7,000 yuan per person; for scholars from PRC(including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), it is up to RMB 5,000 yuan per person. According to the rules, air tickets are reimbursed only for Economy Class and train tickets only for Second Class Seats of high-speed railways.
Accommodation during the forum will be arranged by NCHU and the expenses will be borne by NCHU.

vii. Policies for Talent Introduction
1. Categories of Introduced Talents
Based on professional competence and academic levels, the introduced talents fall into five categories: Strategic Scientists, Leading Talents, Academic Leader, Academic Backbones of Key Disciplines, outstanding overseas young talents, etc.

2.Treatments for Introduced Talents
2.1 Treatments from Jiangxi Provincial Government: All the introduced Talents are recommended to apply for the talent programs of Jiangxi “Double Thousand Plan” and “Jinggang Scholar”. Certain scientific research project funding and subsidies will be provided once being selected.
2.2 Treatments from Nanchang Municipal Government: Each introduced talent will be granted a one-off living allowance of RMB 50,000 for employment, settlement and house rent. For those who transfer their residence to Nanchang city (including the collective registered residence) for the first time, they will be rewarded with a settle-down incentive of RMB 1,000 each person.
2.3 Treatments from Nanchang Hangkong University: The treatment of the introduced talents varies individual from individual according to their ability or achievements. Specifically, the Introduced talents will be first provided with sufficient funding for scientific research and a temporary apartment. Besides, their spouses will be appropriately settled in certain posts. Finally, their children are able to enjoy high-quality education resources including the kindergarten, primary school and middle school attached to NCHU.

Founded in 1952, Nanchang Hangkong University (NCHU)is one of the first institutions in China with the authority to grant bachelor’s degree. NCHU started to enroll postgraduates in 1985 and was authorized to grant master’s degree in 1990. NCHU has been successively subordinate to the Ministry of Aviation Industry, the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Industry, and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China. Since 1999, the University started to implement the management system of joint construction by central and local institutions with local government management as the mainstay. NCHU is now an institution of higher education jointly built by People’s Government of Jiangxi Province and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, PRC.
Located in Nanchang, the City of Heroes, Nanchang Hangkong University has three beautiful campuses of Qianhu campus, Shanghai Road campus, and Gongqingcheng campus, covering an area of more than 3,500 mu(about 2,333,333 km2). NCHU has established 17 schools of specialized subjects, 3 schools of management, and 1 independent School, the School of Science and Technology. The University has 17 first-level disciplines that have the authority to grant master’s degree, 12 specialities that have the authority to grant master’s degree. It has 3 provincial first-class disciplines of Jiangxi Province, including Environmental Science and Engineering, Aerospace Science and Technology, and Instrument Science and technology, as well as 5 characteristic disciplines about national defense. NCHU has been on the second batch of universities implementing the “Outstanding Engineers Education Training Plan” of China’s Ministry of Education. It has got 6 majors approved for the pilot of outstanding engineers education and training on state-level and 6 majors approved on Provincial level of Jiangxi Province. In addition, NCHU has 3 disciplines including Materials Science, Engineering Science and Chemistry, ranking top 6‰ in Essential Science Indicators (ESI) and stepping into top disciplines in the world.
